I’m proud to say the Practice Hub is live at practice.tomsandersontutoring.com. It’s been a while in the making, and it’s finally out in the world.
I built this because it’s the tool I always wanted. As a tutor, I’ve spent years cobbling together worksheets, printouts and bits of paper for 11+ prep, GCSE support and SEN tutoring. I wanted one place where parents and children could go and just practise, properly, without the faff.
See, the 11+ tests children on subjects that aren’t taught at school. That’s not really fair to begin with, so if we’re going to test children on it, they deserve a fighting chance to prepare for it. I don’t think that kind of preparation should sit behind a paywall. Every question and every resource on the hub is completely original, written by me, not pulled from somewhere else and repackaged.
Right now, the verbal reasoning section is complete and ready to use. The rest, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English, is still in progress. So bear with me, I’m working on it every day and I’m aiming to have it all finished by mid-August.
